Roy Alvin Blalock, 78, passed away on February 17, 2022, in Mt. Pleasant. He was born July 3, 1943, to Alvin and Lena Mae Crump Blalock in Titus County.
Mr. Blalock was a rancher.
He is survived by his loving wife Ann Thomas Blalock of 36 years, daughters; Rachel Crase and Mark of Edgemont, South Dakota, Roxanne Fenley and Jake of Lolita, Texas, stepson; Rebel Lynn McKinney of Mt. Pleasant, grandchildren; Kyla & Patrick Mahoney of Nixa, MO, Conor & Kaylea Launius of Ozark, MO, Kali Schmidt of Edgemont, South Dakota, Trista Fenley of Valliant, OK, Jeryn & Preston Hart of Anacoco, LA, great grandchildren; Kadyn Launius of Ozark, MO, Kylan Launius of Ozark MO, sister; Alva Brandenburg of Mt Pleasant, TX, sisters-in-law; Cheryl Thomas of Mt Pleasant, Shirley & Tim Roberts of Mt. Pleasant TX, Geraldine & Lupe Torres of Sulphur Springs, TX, numerous nieces and nephews.
Proceeded in death by this parent; Alvin and Lena Mae Blalock, sister; Iva Mae, father-in-law and mother-in-law; Houston & Ellen Thomas, brother’sin-law; DeWayne Thomas, Jimmy Don Thomas, John Brandenburg.
Graveside service will be at Liberty Hill Cemetery at 2:00 PM, Monday, February 21, 2022, with Bro. Ken Guthrie officiating. Family will receive friends on Sunday, February 20, 2022, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Bates-Cooper-Sloan Funeral Home.
