Funeral service for Pamela Dudley Chism, 64, a resident of Mt. Pleasant, will be 11:00 A.M Saturday, December 31, 2022 at First Baptist Church. Burial in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Mt. Pleasant, under the direction of Tumey Mortuary. She died December 25, 2022.
Pam was born in Williamsburg, VA on September 10, 1958.
She was a member of Sheppard Street Church of Christ and a teacher for the Mt. Pleasant Independent School District. She graduated from MPHS Class of 1977.
She was preceded in death by her parents James Dudley,Sr., Letha and LaMaurice Fomby; brothers James Dudley Jr. and Joseph Dudley.
She leaves, her husband of 46 years, Joe Melvin Chism; son and daughter-in-law Joey and Lori Chism all of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; daughter and son-in-law Melbarnee and Marcus Autry of Little Rock, Arkansas; grandchildren Zaveion Chism Okoh, Payton Chism, Carter Chism, Malori Chism, Cortlan Autry and Aniya Autry; siblings Victor (Marsha) Dudley of Dallas, Texas, LaMarvin (Lula) Fomby, Paula (Vincent) Hurndon, Sybil Woods Elijah all of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; Monique Dudley of Baton Rouge, LA; sister-in-law Quettia Dudley; host of nieces, nephews, relatives, friends.
