Sue McDowell, of Texarkana, passed away on May 22, 2021 in Ft. Worth. She was born on April
27, 1935 in Pittsburg, TX to Robert & Gifty (Fleming) Banks.
Sue worked at the Texarkana Chamber of Commerce for many years as well as volunteering at the Wadley Regional Hospital gift shop. She also served in the WMU with the Congregational
Methodist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Anders; daughter & son-in-law, LouAnn & Joe Dominy; 8 grandchildren & 17 great-grandchildren with one on the way; numerous nieces, nephews & cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Charles Leon McDowell, 4 brothers & 3 sisters.
A service will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at the Farmers Academy Congregational
Methodist Church with visitation 1 hour prior to the service. Interment will be held in the
Farmers Academy Cemetery.
