David McCain passed away Friday, June 18, 2021 in Amarillo, TX. He was born on January 3, 1954, in Memphis, TN to Hugh Everett and Annie Dell Largent McCain.
He was a full-time minister for the Church of Christ for 42 years and worked with 12 congregations in Texas, Arkansas, and Tennessee.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 42 years, Janice Orbison McCain of Mt. Pleasant; daughter and husband, Amanda and Brett Dennie of Gun Barrell City, TX; son, Jonathan McCain of Mt. Pleasant; son, Benjamin McCain of East Mountain, TX; three grandsons, Austin Dennie of Gun Barrell City, TX, Carson McCain and Colton McCain of Mt. Pleasant; brothers, Larry McCain of Seracy, AR and Lee McCain of Centerton, AR; brother-in-law and wife, Steve Orbison and Rita of Corsicana, TX; brother-in-law and wife Tom Orbison and wife Caron of Jacksonville, TX; sister-in-law and husband, Barbara Bailey and Bret of Magnolia, TX; brother-in-law and wife, Tim Orbison and Libbie of Gurley, AL; numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held at North Jefferson Church of Christ in Mt. Pleasant on Saturday, June 26, 2021 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM with a following service.
