Loumarie Adaleen Porter

Loumarie Adaleen Porter went to be with her Lord and Savior the afternoon of July 1, 2023. She fought a long and hard battle with Dementia with such strength and grace.

She turned 100 on September 1, 2023. She was born on September 1, 1922, in White County, Arkansas to Delia and Leslie Armstrong, as the second oldest of four daughters - Evelyn, Adaleen, Maxine (Mac) and Billie. She also has a half-brother, Leslie and a half-sister, Nancy.

Adaleen was first married to L.J. “Buddy” Scott with whom she had two children, Jack Scott and Debbie Billups. Later in life, Adaleen was blessed in marriage to Edgar Porter, with whom she shared 27 years before his passing.

Adaleen’s family, which includes two children, five grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren. Every member of her family, both near and far will miss her and we will keep her in our hearts and memories forever.

We find peace in knowing she is with God, her Momma and Father and her sister’s, Evelyn and Billie. We know in our hearts you are in Heaven with our Lord and Savior. She loved all and all loved her. She is healed now.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM and viewing will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday, July 8th at South Jefferson Baptist. 1701 South Jefferson Ave. Mt. Pleasant, TX 75455. Burial at Nevills Chapel Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant.
