Larry Eugene Morris was born April 3, 1943 in Cookville, Texas to Eugene and Hattie Mae Morris. He passed away July 24, 2022 in Big Sandy, Texas with his wife of 58 years, Billy Ann Harvey Morris by his side.
Larry was a loving Daddy to 3 girls, Grandaddy to 8 grandchildren, and Great Grandaddy to 16 great grandchildren. He worked for Texas Highway Department in Mt. Pleasant, Texas and then for Texas Utilities Coal Mine in Windfield, Texas where he retired. He loved to hunt and was an avid gun collector.
Larry was preceded in death by his Father: Eugene Morris, Mother: Hattie Mae Morris, Brother: Ronnie Morris, and Sister: Barbara Marshall.
He leaves behind his Wife: Billy Ann Harvey Morris of Big Sandy, Texas, Daughters and Son-in-Laws: Jerry Ray and Hollye Rosewell of Cookville, Texas; Gary and Rusti Fagg of Cookville, Texas; Chelley Morris of Lone Star, Texas, Grandchildren: Justin Rosewell of Liberty Hill, Texas; Chance Rosewell of Franklin, Texas; Katelyn Rosewell of Longview, Texas, Winston Fagg of Houston, Texas; Hailey Gibson of Cookville, Texas; Jessica Osborne of Big Sandy, Texas; Jeffery Reed of Missouri; Danny Reed of Cookville, Texas; and multiple great children. He also leaves behind Brother: Sammy Morris of Longview, Texas, Sister and Brother-in-Law: Malvern and Wanda Nix of Pittsburg, Texas, as well as multiple nieces and nephews.
