Joshua Morgan

Funeral service for Joshua Morgan, 43, of Mt. Pleasant, will be 2:00 P.M Saturday, April 20, 2024 at Greater Hope Church of God in Christ, Mt. Pleasant. Interment in Piney Cemetery, under the direction of Tumey Mortuary, Mt. Pleasant. He died April 9, 2024.

He was born in Mt. Pleasant, Texas on October 6, 1980 to J.L. and Bobbie Ann (Justice) Morgan.

Joshua was a 1999 graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School, Mt. Pleasant. He was the owner of Right Choice Lawn Service.

He was preceded in death by his father J.L. Morgan Sr., brother J.L. Morgan Jr., his grandparents.

He is survived by his wife Kiome M. Morgan; his mother Bobbie A. Morgan; children Jayla Morgan, Jakybrein Hines, Janiya Morgan all of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; grandchildren Jacolby, Kaiser, and Ke’Zyah; his siblings Lorraine (Ronnie) Hines of Longview, Texas, John (Telesa) Morgan, Ray (Lametria) Morgan, Gloria Morgan Grant, Solomon Morgan all of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; step mother Laura Morgan of Mt. Pleasant; special cousins Schemeale Minter and Fred Gholston; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
