Johnny Wayne “Bubba” Craddock

Memorial Service for Johnny Wayne “Bubba” Craddock, 71, a resident of Mt. Pleasant, will be 11:00 A.M Friday, June 9, 2023 at Tumey Mortuary Chapel under the direction of Tumey Mortuary, Mt. Pleasant. He died, Thursday, June 1, 2023.

He was born June 1, 1952 in Mt. Pleasant to Henry Jr. and Mary Frances (Lewis) Craddock.

Johnny attended Mt. Olive Baptist Church and graduated fromMountPleasantHighSchool. Hewasa United States Army veteran. He worked many years at Luminant Mining Co. and Dart in Dallas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents; sisters Peggy Bailey, Joann Williams; sister-inlaw Juanita Craddock.

He is survived by a son Lajon Craddock of Mt. Pleasant, stepson Rocky Jones of Oklahoma; stepdaughter Vonlisa (Bertrand) Bennett of Mt. Pleasant; grandchildren Abria Craddock of Dallas, Texas, step grandchildren Chastoni Jones, Kiandra Bennett, Dylan Bennett of Mt. Pleasant; three great grandchildren; brothers Jerry Craddock of Lancaster, Texas, Stephen Craddock of Dallas; sisters Lillie (Charles) Douglas, Stephanie (Tommy) Hines of Dallas, Texas; uncle Clifford Craddock of DeSoto, Texas; great uncle Mose Craddock of Arlington, Texas; great aunt Florida Craddock of Arizona; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends.
