JACKSON

Shirley Ann Embree Jackson, of Grand Prairie, TX, passed away April 23, 2021 after a long battle with COPD. She was 84. Shirley was born in Andrews, TX on October 25, 1936. She graduated Class Salutatorian from Mt. Pleasant High School, Mt. Pleasant, TX in 1955. She married Jimmy Murdock Jackson on March 15, 1958 and was married for 48 years until his death in 2006.

Shirley built a career as a dedicated and skilled bookkeeper, retiring from William C. Hart Construction Company. She was a faithful and dedicated reader of her Bible every day and enjoyed being a member of CrossPoint Church of Christ for over 50 years.

Survived by children: Mischelle Sinclair and her husband, Pete, Matt Jackson and his wife, Kathy, Mark Jackson; grandchildren: Brett Sinclair and his wife, Deanna, Scott Sinclair and his wife, Ella, Caitlin Jackson, Savannah Jackson; great-grandchildren: Deacon, Locklin, Annabelle, Jackson; brother James Embree, sister Sue Havenstrite and dozens of loving nieces and nephews.
