Carlos Fred Hutchings was born in Mt. Pleasant, Texas on April 20, 1954 to the late Fred and Pauline Albright Hutchings.
Carlos passed away September 5, 2021 at his home in Shreveport, Louisiana. He attended grade school at Winfield School and graduated from Mt. Vernon High School. Carlos proudly served in the United States Navy for 8 years, and humbly served many Veterans through his job with CADA. He was a member of the Dellwood Park Assembly of God Church in Mt. Pleasant, Texas.
Carlos is survived by his wife Cheryl Hutchings, son Christopher Hutchings and wife Secilia, and daughter Crystal Moss and husband, Rickey Moss. He is also survived by grandchildren, Ryker Kade Hutchings, Kara Ten Eyck and her husband Daniel Ten Eyck, Haley Hutchings, Seth Quinn, Audrianna Moss, Brianna McGovern and her husband Bryce McGovern, and great grand-son Avos Ten Eyck.
Carlos was next to the youngest of 8 children and was preceded in death by son Wesley Hutchings, his sisters Cheryl Lynn Stephens and Paula Nell Blackburn. His surviving siblings and in-laws are Rex and Jerry Amerson, Douglas Hutchings, Ben and Tonya Hutchings, Don and Joyce Hutchings, Rodney and Darla Cargile, Ken Stephens, and Jerry Blackburn.
