High School in 1972, Harmon enlisted in the Navy where he served, receiving an honorable discharge. He then spent his career working in the food service industry throughout Dallas before semi-retiring. He was a security guard with United Protective Services when he passed.

Harmon had a huge personality and loved to make others laugh. His sense of humor and contagious energy earned him the nickname “Happy”, which is exactly how he made everyone around him feel. Harmon was beloved and cherished by his siblings, nephews, and nieces. He prioritized his family and never forgot a birthday or missed a Sunday night Cowboy’s game at his brother’s house.

Harmon was preceded in death by his father, mother, and brother-in-law Douglas Cooley. He is survived by his sister Sindie Wilson Haug (Ken); brother Dudley T. Wilson (Fran); sister Cecilia Cooley; 2 nephews; 4 nieces; and 1 great-nephew.

Graveside services will be held at Greenhill Cemetery in Titus County on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at 11 a.m.
