Grant Elliott Small

Grant Elliott Small (35), Athens, Georgia passed on Saturday June 17th from injuries sustained in an auto and motor scooter accident.

Grant attended Holy Innocents’ Episcopal School, Atlanta, Georgia and Gainesville State college-Athens, Georgia. He was passionate about playing guitar, fishing, golf, and his two pound-hounds; Tetunka and River. His greatest joy was spending time with his niece and nephew.

Family, Mother, Isabelle Zabeau Small, Sister Rachel( Ryan) Sheldon, brother Brian (Julia) Small, grandmother Pierrette Bruechner, uncle Eric (Barbara) Bruechner, niece Ellie, nephews Jake, Bryson, Jameson, cousin Reese (Nicole) Bruechner. Grant has extended family members in Mississippi, Texas and France. He was preceded in death by his father Eldred Elliott Small, Jr. and his grandfather Herman Bruechner.

Although born and raised in Georgia, Texas was where he had the most fun hunting for turkey, duck, deer and fishing with his cousin, uncle and grandfather. In lieu of flowers, a donation to a charity or cause of your choice would honor him and his family.
