Services for Eddie Bob Mebane, 88, of Tyler were held on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. at Stewart Family Funeral Home with Rev.
Wynn Skelton officiating. Burial followed at 2:00 p.m. in Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.
Mr. Mebane passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2025, in Tyler. He was born May 15, 1936, in Mt. Pleasant to Joseph Bryan and Alma Booth Mebane.
Eddie graduated from Winfield High School. He held the position of Ret. Ltc. of the US Army for 31 years.
Eddie was preceded in death by his spouse, Frances Mebane. He is survived by his loving family including his son, Terry Mebane; grandsons, Colton Mebane of Charleston, SC, Connor Mebane and wife Mikaela of Ft. Worth; two great-grandsons, “Mav” and “Max” of Ft. Worth.
Visitation was scheduled from 8:30 – 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at Stewart Family Funeral Home, 7525 Old Jacksonville Highway in Tyler.
