Funeral Service for Dwayne E.
Brown, 49, of Mt. Pleasant, will be 11:00 A.M Wednesday, September 11, 2024 Trinity Baptist Church. Pastor J.E. Lewis Jr., officiating and under the direction of Tumey Mortuary. He died, September 4, 2024.
Dwayne was born April 20, 2024 in Mt. Pleasant. Dwayne graduated Mt. Pleasant High School class of 1993. He also graduated from Paris Jr College with Associates Degree in Air Conditioning. He was formerly employed at US Steel and Mt. Pleasant Pet Food.
He was preceded in death by his father, Donald W. Curtis; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. T.L. Brown, Annie Faye Thomas, Joe and Maggie Traylor; dad Troy Traylor, and numerous aunts and uncles.
Those left to cherish his precious memories are his wife of 12 years, Rhonda; their children Dwayne Jr., Addisyn, Tyler, and D’Aundra; his mother Beverly Curtis; four sisters Chasity Curtis, Tmisha, Tamara, and Amber Traylor; one brother Chaz (Torie) Curtis: one granddaughter, Dreah; and numerous aunts and uncles; a special brother/friend Lachalan Williams and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relative and friends.
