Funeral Service for De’Trevisa Jaquill Johnson, 16, a resident of Mt. Pleasant, will be 3:00 P.M Saturday, January 22, 2022 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, Mt. Pleasant with Pastor Frank Stringham, officiating and under the direction of Tumey Mortuary.
He was born in Mt. Pleasant, Texas on August 17, 2005 to Mattie (Johnson) and Edward Washington.
De’Travisa was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, Mt. Pleasant. He enjoyed playing sports. He aspired to be a real estate agent when he grew up. He also loved fun times and making people smile and laugh.
He leaves to cherish his memories his mother and father Mattie and Edward Washington of Mt. Pleasant, Texas, father Bretsyn Minter of Dallas, Texas; his sisters Anastasha Johnson of Mt. Pleasant, Texas, Ebony Trevino and Eva Trevino both of Dallas, Texas; brother Brayden Minter of Dallas, Texas; grandparents Frank and Artice Johnson of Mt. Pleasant, Texas, Tamara Minter of Dallas, Rev. Johnny and Edna Washington of Douglassville, Texas and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Public viewing will be at the funeral home on Friday, January 21, 2022 from
