Funeral Service for Dennis Martin, 72, a resident of Omaha, will be 11:00 A.M Saturday, October 21, 2023 at Paul Pewitt Auditorium, Omaha, Texas. Burial in Spring Hill Cemetery, Naples, Texas under the direction of Tumey Mortuary, Mt. Pleasant. He died, October 12, 2023.
He was born in Naples, Texas on October 10, 1951 to Napoleon and Katherine Martin. He attended Carver High School and graduated from Paul Pewitt High School in 1970. He was a member of Williams Chapel Baptist Church, Naples, and before retiring he was employed by Morris County National Bank and Paul Pewitt CISD.
He was preceded in death by his parents, grandson Aagion Martin, two sisters Barbara Meriweather and Peggy McCoo.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 23 years Gloria Martin of Omaha, Texas; son Che Martin (Ruthie) of Lewisville, Texas; daughter Shagitta Martin of Fulsher, Texas; three bonus children Tiffani, Christopher (Chandra), Damon; three grandchildren Breana, Cameron, Brodie III; siblings Helen, Patricia, Mary D., Mary L. (Willie B.), Mark, Jack, Don, Jan; one aunt Pat Belle; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
