Memorial Service for Debra Ann Ellis, 64, a resident of Mt. Pleasant, will be 12:00 P.M Saturday, December 10, 2022 at Sugarhill Church of God of Prophecy, Mt. Pleasant. Cremation service under the direction of Tumey Mortuary. She died, November 29, 2022.
Debra was born February 24, 1958 in San Bernardino, California to Elizabeth and Jess Ellis.
Debra graduated from San Gorgonio High school in San Bernardino, California. In 1976 she moved to Texas. She worked 26 years as a Dietary Aide for Pleasant SpringsNursingHome. Shewasanall-aroundgood personwhowasloveddearly. Debralovedfishing, camping, road trips, playing bingo and cards.
She was preceded in death by her father, brothers Jesse and Richard Ellis, sister Velma Ellis.
She leaves to cherish her memories mother Elizabeth Ellis; children Zack Ellis, Kenya Morgan and sonin- law Willie Evans; one grandchild Jaden Ellis; sister Wanda Ellis and brother-in-law Wayne Minter all of Mount Pleasant, Texas, sister Elizabeth “Lizzy” Ellis of Arlington, Texas; nephews Derek Ellis, Tyrone Chism, Dqwanye Hargraves and Keynan Ellis; nieces Waneisha Minter and Andria Leake, and a host of great nieces and nephews, cousins, numerous of other relatives and friends.
