Funeral Service for Cynthia Autry, 70, a resident of Mt. Pleasant, will be 11:00 A.M Saturday, February 1, 2025 at Church of the Living God, Mt. Pleasant, Texas. Burial in Cortznes Cemetery, under the direction of Tumey Mortuary, Mt. Pleasant. She died, January 24, 2025.
Cynthia was born March 13, 1954 in Mt. Pleasant, Texas to Johnny and Margie (Byrd) Matson. She graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School in 1972. She was a member of the Church of the LivingGod. Shelovedreading,fishing,traveling, cooking and plants.
She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson Isaac Price; brothers Calven and Johnny Matson Jr.; nephew Gabriel Matson.
She is survived by daughters Jacqueline Brazil (Edison), Margo Salnave (Jeff), Tabatha Autry all of Mt. Pleasant; grandchildren Brianna Stevenson, Kadeja and Jalen Brown, La’Diamond and Margie Price; great grandchildren De’Andrae, Leilah, Heaven, Jalen, DeMontric, Dallas, Ezekiel, Aleah; siblings Christopher (Tina) Matson; Marilyn Armstead, Tammie Johnson all of Mt. Pleasant, April (Jesse) Ivory of Pittsburg; special cousin Barbara Waheed; special friend Jeanette Mims and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
