Funeral Service for Craig Stern, 52, of Daingerfield, will be 2:00 P.M Saturday, April 27, 2024 at Daingerfield High School Auditorium, Daingerfield, under the direction of Tumey Mortuary, Mt.

Pleasant. He died April 20, 2024.

He was born July 31, 1971 in Daingerfield, Texas to Ethel Stern and Sammy Mike.

He was a 1990 graduate of Daingerfield High School, member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church and an ArmyVeteran. Craig was the CEO of Strongarm Records. He retired from US Steel.

He was preceded in death by his father, grandparents, sister Rosylin Elliott.

He is survived by his wife Latasha Stern of Daingerfield; children Tyrell (Ashley) Brown of Pueblo, CO, Yasmine (Shaylon) Smith of Daingerfield, Anterrio (Lulu) Smith of Horseshoe Bay, Texas, Sha’kia Williams of Ft. Worth, Craig Cannon of Florida, Teasia Stern of San Marcos, Chazlea Morris Stern of Mt. Pleasant, bonus son Jesse (Susanna) Kennedy of Cason; 13 grandchildren; his mother Ethel Stern of Daingerfield; siblings Phyllis Mike of Dallas, Samantha Stern, Reginald Stern, Jadarius Searcy all of Daingerfield; special aunt Linda Smith; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends.
