Clayton Bell Vaden

Funeral Service for Clayton Bell Vaden, 65, of Mt. Pleasant, will be 11:00 A.M Saturday, January 14, 2023 at Tumey Mortuary Chapel. Pastor Henry Jordan,officiatingand cremation services under the direction of Tumey Mortuary. He died, January 2, 2023.

Clayton was born May 28, 1957 in Naples, Texas to Bobbie Lee and Mary Vaden.

He was a 1976 graduate of Paul Pewitt High School and a member of Full Gospel Revival Church, Mt. Pleasant, Texas. He was an avid Houston Texan fan. He loved to riding horses and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his grandparents; his twin brother Clyde Vaden, brother Bobby Vaden, uncle Shane Allen.

He is survived by his wife Joyce Marie Vaden; children Terrance Bell, Chaka Bell, Marcell Cheatum Jr., Kevin Cheatum, Joyce Jordan, Hellena Cheatum; 18 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; his siblings Samuel Vaden, Linda Sue Luckey and Rose Vaden; aunts Vickie Allen, Terri Allen; uncles W.K. Allen, Charles Allen; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
