Funeral Service for Charles E.
Hudson Jr., 56, of Mt. Pleasant, will be 11:00 A.M Saturday, September 14, 2024 at Blundis Creek Baptist Church. Rev. J.C. Hurrington, officiating and services are under the direction of Tumey Mortuary. He died, September 4, 2024.
He was born January 8, 1968 in Dallas, Texas to Charles E. Hudson Sr. and Darlene Jeffery.
Charles was a member at Blundis Creek Baptist Church, Mt. Pleasant. He was a graduate of Mt. PleasantHighSchool,Classof1987. Hewasan avid fisherman and hunter and Dallas Cowboys fan. He was preceded in death by his father, grandmother Dolly Finley, grandfather Claude Jeffery, great grandmother Molly Lewis. He is survived by his sons Davon Hudson and O’Mere High both of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; daughters Adeona Barker and Chaya Hudson both of Indiana; his mother Darlene Jeffery and brother Gregory Hudson both of Wilmer, Texas; sister Yvonne (James) Baxter of Greensboro, North Carolina; nephew Vincent Washington; niece Paysley Hudson; great nephews Christopher Hill Jr., Vincent Washington, Jr.; great nieces Chrishun Hill, Tamirelle Dunn, Va’Lencia Washington; and a host of cousins, relatives, friends.
