Carroll F. Faulkner, 71, of Mt. Enterprise, Texas passed away on Monday, October 30, 2023 at UT Health-Tyler, surrounded by his family. He was born February 25, 1952 in Pittsburg, Texas to Carmen Festus Faulkner and Ola Whetstone Faulkner.

Carroll married the love of his life, Tonya Bundick Faulkner, on November 15, 1997, and they shared 25 wonderful years together. They enjoyed spending time together with their family and traveling.

Carroll grew up in Talco, Texas and loved playing in the Sulphur River and White Oak Creek bottoms. His brothers and sisters will tell you he has been fun-loving and mischievous since he was a little boy, and he did not change as he grew up. Carroll loved making new friends and making them laugh. You knew you were held in high regard if he called you Ray. He had a generous heart and never shied away from an opportunity to help someone. He also loved his family fiercely, and he relished every opportunity to get together and cook for them. It did not matter what he was cooking, he always claimed it was the best, and he was usually right. Most of all, Carroll loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and he is rejoicing in Heaven.

Carroll is survived by his loving wife, Tonya; children: Edward Faulkner and wife Linda of Mt. Enterprise, TX, Jeffrey Faulkner of Mt. Enterprise, TX, Veronica Jones of Texarkana, TX, Cole Faulkner and wife Cara of Carthage, TX, Chelsea Dvorak and Husband Dave of Houston, TX. Whitney Mcham of Mt. Enterprise, TX, and Zane Faulkner and wife Shelbi of Mt. Enterprise, TX, and his favorite child: a Boston Terrier named Bugs; his brother Gerald Faulkner of Burnet, TX, his sister Marcella Roberts and husband Aubrey of Mt. Pleasant, TX, His sister Sherry Cabell and husband Bill of Henderson, TX, his grandchildren: Mallory, Garrett, Haleigh, Lance, Bradi Jo, Valentina, Caylee, Cara, Case, Marlee, and Lemon; 4 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Carroll was proceeded in death by his parents Carmen and Ola Faulkner, brother Jerry Faulkner, and sister Clara Loschke.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on November 4, 2023 at the First Baptist Church in Mt. Enterprise, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Morning Star Food Pantry at the First Baptist Church in Mt Enterprise, TX.
