Brian Dale Carpenter passed away after a long illness at the age of 63 in Dallas, Texas on July 2, 2023. He was born in Dallas, Texas on July 17, 1959. He spent most of his childhood in Mount Pleasant, Texas where he graduated from Mount Pleasant High School in 1977. He attended Austin College in Sherman, Texas. He graduated in 1981 with a B.A. in Economics. Brian was an avid book reader. He had a keen interest in current affairs and always kept up with the news of the day. As a young child, Brian loved dinosaurs. Later, he had an interest in karate, and he learned on his own how to practice it. He taught his brother how to play chess as well as the importance of books and learning. He delighted his mother by engaging her in long conversations on numerous scholarly topics and tried to be the son that his father could be proud of.
Brian was preceded in death by father, Dale Carpenter, and mother, Irene (Cone) Carpenter.
Survived by brother, Morgan Carpenter, uncle, Roger Cone; aunts, Carol Carpenter and Mary Carpenter as well as many cousins and extended family.
