Bobby Gene Hill

Funeral Service for Bobby Gene Hill, 86, a resident of Mt. Pleasant, will be 11:00 A.M Saturday, October 7, 2023 at Tumey Mortuary Chapel. Burial in Gethsemane Cemetery, Naples, Texas under the direction of Tumey Mortuary, Mt. Pleasant. He died, October 1, 2023.

He was born in Naples, Texas on August 3, 1937 to Billy and Alice Hill. He attended Booker T. Washington High School, Mt. Pleasant, Texas. He was a member of Sheppard Street Church of Christ, Mt. Pleasant and was employed by DART in Dallas, Texas as a landscaper. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son Reginald Hill; his seven siblings; his cousin Roy Lee Hall.

He leaves his three daughters and two sons-in-law Tina and Robert Mc-Carty of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; Betty and Earl Stewart of South Bend, IN, Gwendolyn Jiles of Austin, Texas; a host of grandchildren, great and great great grandchildren; brother Raphael Hill and nephew Derrick Hill both of Dallas, Texas; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
