Funeral Service for Billy Earl Morgan, 63, a resident of Talco, will be 11:00 A.M Thursday, November 17, 2022 at The Church of Jesus Christ-Latter Day Saints, with Bishop Ed Covey, officiating. Burial in Piney Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant, under the direction of Tumey Mortuary. He died, November 11, 2022.
He was born in Mt. Pleasant, Texas on February 24, 1959, to James Arthur and Billie Jean Morgan. He attended Mount Pleasant High School. Before retirement, he worked for George Batey Logging, where he operated heavy equipment.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
He is preceded in death by his father Arthur James “Mickey” Morgan, brother James Morgan, Perry Morgan, daughter Mary Casteneda.
He is survived by his wife Lorri Orton, daughters, Alexis Sheeds, Mackenzie Espinosa, Clara Morgan; mother Billie Jean Morgan, sisters Johnnie Galloway, Sharon Himes, Katrina Davis (Carl), Charlotte Brown, brothers Douglas Morgan, Joe Morgan, Bobby (Janette) Morgan, David Savage; grandchildren Zaydin and Brynlee Orton, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
