Avis Charlene Donaghue of Mt. Pleasant, Texas, passed away on May 5, 2023, in Mt. Pleasant, TX. She was born on June 23, 1937, in Mt. Vernon, Texas to Irwin & Abby (Bradley) Case.
She was a member of the St. Marks Episcopal Church in Mt. Pleasant.
She is survived by her son, Dennis Donaghue and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Rhea Donaghue and a brother, James Case.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Sunday, May 7, 2023, at the Bates Cooper Sloan Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, May 8, 2023, at the Providence Cemetery in Mt. Vernon, Texas.
