Roger Anderson age 75, Passed Away of Acute Heart Failure and Coronary Artery Disease. PHILIPPIANS 1: 21 For me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. Roger is in HEAVEN REJOICING! JOHN 3:1-21 ...(verse 3.) Jesus answered and said to him (Nicodemus), “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he can not see the kingdom of God.”

Roger LOVED GOD, and called Him “Daddy”, in Aramaic means “father” or “Abba-Father” used by Jesus while praying in Gethsemane (MARK 14:32,36). It was also used by Paul to express the Christian’s sonship with God the Father (ROMANS 8:15). Roger about two years ago started singing in “Tongues”, sounded Jewish, it was Beautiful to hear. He loved to sing and go to church every Sunday, up until the Coronavirus Pandemic -March 2020, that’s when Roger quarantined “himself ” and I, his wife, put on a mask and plastic gloves and went out to do errands; during that time we watched church on FaceBook and UTube, we were Thankful for them. During the week of ice and snow, we both came down with cold symptoms, that’s when stores closed, including Dr’s.Clinics. Roger having Diabetes got very weak, he had me call the Paramedics, in Feb. and was Hospitalized and again in March. (I PRAY PSALM 91 for our First Responders, Policeman, Fireman, Paramedics, Doctors, Nurses and Staff, Civilian and Military, Etc.Etc.Etc. our “H E R O E S” ! )

Roger was a NAVY VETERAN and served our Country, The United States of America Four Years. EDUCATION AND TRAINING COMPLETED: CLASS A ELECTRICIAN’S MATE SCHOOL, NTC FOR BASIC MILITARY REQUIREMENTS, NTC FOR FIREMAN, MASSED MILITARY LEADERSHIP EXAM FOR E-4, CLASS C-1 16MM MOTION PICTURE OPERATOR SCHOOL.

He was employed by a California Refineries for 35 years or so. and Retired February. We are Blessed with our Children: Joan and Family, Mike and Family, Scott and Family and Michelle and Family and Shawn and Family.

Roger liked to fish, went deep sea fishing, and deep sea diving, he was also a Craftsmen, built me a Big, Beautiful Oak, Lighted China Cabinet, easy roll out drawers, a “Masterpiece”!

He had a Compassionate Heart and was a Very Generous Man.

Pastor James Baker of Circle C Cowboy Church asked Roger, because God Delivered him from Drugs and Alcohol, (this June would have been 37 Years Sober !) if he would start a Drug and Alcohol Recovery Program at our church? (which Pastor named “Top Hands”) and on Dec. 22, three Pastors from different Churches came to our Tuesday, Top Hands Meeting and brought another Brother from the Biker’s Church and “Annointed” both of them as Pastors. ( At “Top Hands” we also ministered to those that had lost Loved Ones). With GOD’s Help, Wisdom and Strength and Protection, we ministered for 4 1/2 years. ALL GLORY GOES TO GOD !

Roger, was also one of the men, from different churches in town who went monthly to the Mt. Pleasant Jail to share the Gospel of Christ and to Baptize Inmates. He every time, would ask our HEAVENLY FATHER, “what do you want me to share with the men”? With GOD’s Help, Wisdom and Strength, even though Roger’s heart functioned only 20 %, he would return that night - REJOICING and sharing with me how the night went! In March 2020 because of the Coronavirus, visitation at Jail Stopped! A few months later Roger called the Captain of Corrections Division and got the approval to mail or deliver his 40 Bible Study Copies to the Jail - his last time, to send his Bible Study Copies was this February. He ministered for two years.

Pastor James Baker will be officiating the memorial service under the direction of Bates Cooper Sloan Funeral Home, Mt. Pleasant, Texas.
