Mount Pleasant High School senior, Dylan Bennett, won a UIL State silver medal in the 5A 100M competition on Friday, May 3 with a time of 10.52. Bennett was barely edged out by William Mitchell of Marshall with a time of 10.43. Blake Holland of Magnolia won the bronze at 10.54. Bennett will continue his track career at the University of Texas at Tyler.
