Mitchell Kent Dill, 60, of Mount Pleasant, Texas passed from this life into the loving arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on September 20, 2023, in Tyler, Texas. He was born on November 29, 1962 in Mount Pleasant, Texas to Jerry Don Dill and Talma (Adams) Dill.
Mitchell was a lifelong resident of Mount Pleasant. He was a Christian and had a strong faith in God. He was a member of Nevill’s Chapel Baptist Church. He was employed as a laborer at Atlas Roofing. Mitchell loved his buddies from Atlas Roofing and enjoyed meeting up with them to share a meal of either chicken fried steak or hot links. He also enjoyed riding on his side-by-side looking at the cows on the family farm and taking family members with him on those rides. He often visited with several widowed women in the community and from church to catch up on the latest community happenings and events. He cherished the time he spent with those ladies! Mitchell, first and foremost, loved spending time with his family whether at family gatherings and functions or one on one as they were a very close-knit clan. What brought him the most joy was fishing with his grandson, Isaac. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
