Funeral Service for A.D. Johnson, 94, a resident of Daingerfield, Texas, will be 1:00 P.M Saturday, August 19, 2023 at Wallick Chapel Christian Church, Daingerfield. Burial in Springhill Cemetery, Omaha, Texas under the direction of Tumey Mortuary. He died, Monday, August 14, 2023.
A.D. Johnson was born April 12, 1929 to Cliff and Minnie Pearl (Williams) Johnson in Daingerfield, Texas.
He was a member of Wallick Chapel Christian Church, Daingerfield, Texas where he served as father of the church, lead devotion and was a past member of the male chorus. He loved playing dominoes, bird hunting and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father; wife Maudine Johnson; four brothers and four sisters.
He leaves to cherish his memories his special friend and caretaker of over 30 years Joyce Patt of Daingerfield, Texas; special niece and her husband Darlean and Pastor Wayne Roberson, special nephews Galend Johnson and Dexter Roberson all of Daingerfield, Texas; a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
