Taylor
Margaret Kathrine Taylor, 91, of Mabelvale, Arkansas was born on Sunday, September 6th, 1931, in Pittsburg, Texas. She went to be with her Lord on Saturday, August 12th, 2023. She was a beloved wife of 70 years and the most wonderful mother and grandmother; not only to her own, but the many other she was a mother and grandmother to. She loved to go camping and fishing with her family, who were everything to her. She was a lifetime member of The Cookville Church of God of Prophecy, where she was honored to be the worship leader well into her 80’s. More recently, she was a member of Christ Church in Little Rock, Arkansas, where she was deeply loved. She will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know and love her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Irene Cheek; her husband, Marvin Taylor; son, James Taylor; grandson, Deputy Sheriff Clifton Taylor; and four sisters, Blanch Cheek, Jo Ann Tilley, Dorothy Huffmant, and Darlis Watkins. She is survived by her five sons, Mike (Patty) of Mabelvale, Larry (Judy) of Benton, Randy (Rebecca) of Alvarado, Texas, Casey (Jodi) of Hughes Spring, Texas, and Tom (Linda) of Jaxson, Tennessee; twelve grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter; three brothers, George, Johnny, and Everett Cheek; two sisters, Donna Madison and Beverly Guess; along with numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, church family, and friends.
Pallbearers include Austin Taylor, Ryan Taylor, Preston Davis, John Michael Douglas, Nathan Davis, Ethan Taylor, Jake Douglas, and Parker Taylor.
Honorary Pallbearers include James LaDon Taylor Jr, Bently Taylor, Lincoln Taylor, James Stephen Douglas, and Stetson Davis.
Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 19th, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. with the visitation an hour prior at Cookville Church of God of Prophecy in Cookville, Texas. Burial will follow at Phillips Taylor Cemetery.
