It was a warm, sunny day at the fair grounds Saturday as hundreds of people gathered to celebrate Independence Day at Happy Birthday USA, an annual event hosted by the Mount Pleasant - Titus County Chamber of Commerce.
The event kicked off at 4 p.m. and festivities included a kids parade, live music, vendor booths, contests and more.
