Annie Pauline Benson Campbell was born March 13, 1925 to J.E. “Jimbo” and Fannie Ola Fuquay Benson. She passed away at home on April 19, 2023 at the age of 98.
Pauline was preceded in death by her parents; her husband R.H. “Rex” Campbell; her daughter Nancy Helen Forgy Rose; her granddaughter Amy Leigh Forgy; her sister Geraldine “Gerry” and brother-in-law Bill Scott; and her step-mother Girtie Benson.
She is survived by her daughter Sharon and husband Mike Fields; son-in-law Charles Rose; and grandchildren Michele Underwood; Steven Forgy; Susan and husband Randall Speights; Lisa Fields; Stacy and husband John Horn; and Chelsie Rose. She is also survived by great-grandchildren Michael and wife Tiffany Underwood; Amber and husband Chris Sund; Brent and wife Chelsey Forgy; Matthew Vaughn and fiancée Jordan Baggett; Chase and wife Destinee Vaughn; Brittany Forgy and fiancé Jake Barr; Blake Forgy; Brooke Vaughn; and Presley Speights. Pauline’s great-great grandchildren are Bayleigh and Reggie Underwood; James, Christopher, and Bentley Sund; Ivory Vaughn; Journiee and Avery Vaughn; Asher Coleman and Lydia Barr.
Pall bearers are grandsons Michael Underwood, John Horn, Brent Forgy, Matthew Vaughn, Chase Vaughn, and Blake Forgy.
Funeral services will be Friday at 11:00 a.m. with Larry Black and Jeff Whatley officiating at the Bates-Cooper-Sloan Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in the Monticello W.O.W. Cemetery.
