Members of the Northeast Texas Community College Carroll Shelby Automotive Program hosted a chili cook off on January 11, the 100th anniversary of Shelby’s birthday.
While at first glance, Carroll Shelby and chili may not seem to have much in common, Shelby was actually partly responsible for the fame of this dish in the great state of Texas.
