Funeral Service for Vincent “Red” Green, 47, resident of Mt. Pleasant, will be 11:00 A.M Saturday, November 12, 2022 at St. Matthew House of Worship, Mt. Pleasant. with Bishop J. C. Fountain, officiating. Burial in Piney Cemetery under the direction of Tumey Mortuary. He died November 3, 2022.
Red was born September 24, 1975 in Mt. Pleasant to Linda Minter and Willie Woodson.
He was a member of St. Matthew House of Worship and a 1994 graduate of Mount Pleasant High School where he played numerous sports. He attended Northeast Texas Community College. He worked for Lynch Construction.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Reginald Green, grandparents Annie Minter, Rosie and Mack Woodson; nephew De’Travisa Johnson. He is survived by his wife Natosha Green, daughters Vacaria Green, Pinky Green; three grandchildren Darcell and Xolani Nevils, Seighlar Frazier; his brother Willie Woodson, Jr. (Tasha) Hughes Spring; sisters Syreeta (Felix) Rodriguez, Denton, Vineta Byrd of Mt. Pleasant, Carla Woodson of San Antonio and Megan Rockwell of Dallas, Texas; host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews; aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
