Funeral Service for Anthony Beard, 52, Ft. Worth, will be 1:00 P.M Saturday, November 5, 2022 at Sunset Baptist Church, Mt. Pleasant. with Rev. T.D. Bowie, officiating. Burial in Old West Side Cemetery, under the direction of Tumey Mortuary. He died, Monday, October 24, 2022.
Anthony was born April 15, 1970, in Mt. Pleasant, Texas to Robert and Evelyn Joyce Beard.
He was a 1988 graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School and attended Northwestern State University in Louisiana. He was a member of Sunset Baptist Church, Mt. Pleasant and retired from Prieferts in 2021. He is currently employed with Pottorff Industries.
He was preceded in death by his father, his grandparents; four aunts Ruby Chism, Hazel Beard, Jane Jenkins, and Eunie Jones; three uncles Billy Beard, Curtis Jones. Survived by his wife KaStarya Beard of Ft. Worth, Texas; his mother Evelyn Joyce Beard of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; his children Sydney Beard and Jordan Offord both of Ft. Worth, Texas; TyQuadrian Beard of Omaha, Texas; grandchildren Khyree Beard, Roberto Green, Jabari Beard; sister Deborah Johnson of Dallas; brothers Gregory, Marcus and Billy Beard all of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; nieces Evelyn Bridges and Bailey Beard; nephew Ladarius Beard; great niece Emani Lewis, aunts Becky Beard and Wanda Richardson both of Dallas; uncles Jerry Beard and Arthur Lee Beard both of Dallas and Ernest Scott of Granbury, Texas, and a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.
