Master Gardener Meet and Greet

How many of us have had a plant just up and die for no reason? I suspect most of us. There is a group that can help avoid or minimize the number of bad plant experiences... Texas Master Gardeners, with a local chapter, Cypress Basin Master Gardener Association (CBMGA), right here in Mt. Pleasant, serving the surrounding counties. You say, ”But I don’t know anything about the Master Gardeners.” Well, just keep reading.

Have you ever wondered what Master Gardeners really do? Are you curious about the path to becoming a Master Gardener? Would you like more information about the upcoming classes starting in January, 2023? The Cypress Basin Master Gardeners and Texas A & M AgriLife will host a meet and greet on Wednesday, October 26 from 9-12 am. Come get more information about Master Gardeners, or have your general horticultural topics answered. Light refreshments will be served and there will be plenty of volunteers to show you around or answer your questions.

Even if you think you are not (currently) interested in becoming a Master Gardener, you can still stop by, ask questions of the Master Gardeners about your plants (or anything else, but we’ll probably take the conversation back to plants), and please take a tour of our grounds. We are very proud of our gardens and want everyone to at least come by and see what all our Master Gardeners have done.
