During their last regular meeting, Mount Pleasant Mayor Tracy Craig, Sr. gave recognition to Mae Lois Tudman White, who received the award for continuous inspiration through Mount Pleasant School for being inspirational and having dedication throughout the years pasted. The mayor also brought up that they will be donating $500 dollars to the teacher of the year award each year.
