Funeral Service for Willie Woodson, 69, a resident of Mt. Pleasant, will be 12:00 P.M Saturday, September 10, 2022 at Sheppard Street Church of Christ, Mt. Pleasant, Texas with Minister Ricky Williams, officiating. Burial in Reynolds Cemetery, Daingerfield, Texas under the direction of Tumey Mortuary. He died, Friday, September 2, 2022.
He was born May 29, 1953 in Mt. Pleasant to Mack and Rosie (Rockwell) Woodson.
He was a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School, Mt. Pleasant and member of the Sheppard Street Church of Christ. He retired from Sara Lee.
Preceded in death by his father and mother, brother Rickey Woodson, nephew Michael Bryson.
He leaves his wife Alberta Woodson, his children Willie Woodson Jr. and his wife Natasha of Mt. Pleasant; Carla Woodson of LaGrange, Texas; Vineta Byrd of Mt. Pleasant, Megan Rockwell of Dallas, Texas, Vincent Carl Green of Mt. Pleasant; sisters Martha Bryson and Daisy Brooks, brother Randy (Rose) Woodson all of Mt. Pleasant; special nephew Lamond Bryson of Dallas, Texas; special friend Danny Roney of Mt. Pleasant and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
