Larry Carl Talley, Sr., dearly loved son, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend passed away peacefully at home in Anna, Texas on May 9, 2022 at the age of 82. He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Vivian and Carl Talley and son, Kristopher Talley. He is survived by wife, Wayvalyn, sons, Larry, Michael, David and Siggi, daughters-in-law, Ellen and Cindy, grandchildren, Tripp, Logan, Ashten, Kristie, Daisy, Hayden, Haley, Jackson and great granddaughter, Meadow.
Larry Carl Talley was born on August 17, 1939 in Dallas, Texas at Florence Nightingale Hospital to Vivian and Carl Talley. In his earlier years, he was raised in Dallas, Texas and later in Omaha, Texas where he graduated from Paul Pewitt High School, Omaha, Texas. He later attended Stephen F. Austin University on a music Scholarship where he completed his studies in music as well as played French horn for the Shreveport Symphony Orchestra. He later found his talents and entrepreneurial spirit led him in a life-long career in sales and entrepreneurial ventures both domestic and abroad until his retirement in 2010.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at Holy Nativity Episcopal Church, 2200 18th Street, Plano, Texas 75074 at 4:00 p.m. with a reception onsite following the service. A Graveside service will be held at Concord Cemetery, 260 CR 3306, Omaha, Texas 7557 at 10:00 a.m. with a reception to follow as well.
