Funeral Service for Larry Delorn Williams, 68, resident of Cookville, will be 1:00 P.M Saturday, March 19, 2022 at Union Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, Omaha. Burial in Bell Haven Cemetery, Omaha under the direction of Tumey Mortuary, Mt. Pleasant. He died, Sunday, March13, 2022.
He was born January 30, 1954 in Pittsburg, Texas to H.C. and Osia Williams. Larry is a member of Omaha First Baptist Church, Omaha, Texas.
Larry attended George Washington Carver and was a graduate of Paul H. Pewitt High School, class of 1972. He joined the army in 1975 and served until 1978. He attended Texarkana College earning a degree in industrial electronics/industrial electrical technician. Larry was employed with US Army Corp of Engineers; Red River Army Depot; U S Steel, Lone Star.
Larry’s parents H.C. and Osia Williams, one brother Donal Williams preceded him in death.
Left to cherish his memories, his wife Georgia R. Williams, three sons Robert (Garnett) Johnson of Hallsville, Texas, Reginal (Melissa) Bonner of Longview, Texas, Christopher (Shametria) Hunt of Dallas, Texas; two daughters Yolanda Williams and Shemeca Williams both of Wiley, Texas; two step-sons, Charles (Michelle) Greene of Tyler, Texas, Kendrick Greene of Omaha, Texas; eleven grandchildren; three brothers, Gary Williams of Houston, Texas, Gregory Williams, Kim Williams and one sister Vicki (Charles) Berry all of Omaha, Texas, a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
