Funeral Service for Vickie Sue Pogue, 66, a resident of Mt. Pleasant, will be 11:00 A.M Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Full Gospel Pentecostal Church, with Pastor Joe Lewis Jr., officiating. Burial in Piney Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant, Texas under the direction of Tumey Mortuary. She died, Thursday, February 17, 2022.
She was born July 31, 1955 in Mt. Pleasant to Cleatus Pogue and Nola Savage.
She was a member of the Full Gospel Pentecostal Church.
She was preceded in death by her father, son Elliott Pogue, stepfather Elmer Ray Savage, brother Charles Savage, sister Rita Savage.
She is survived by her son Jason Pogue of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; grandchildren Kierra Pogue, Jashon Pogue, Jacolby Pogue, Myesha Pogue, Amaury Ray and great grandchild Serenity Pogue; two brothers and sisters-in-law Craig and Samantha Savage of Paris, Texas, Marcus and Denise Savage of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; sisters and a brother-in-law Terri Savage, Janice Savage, Mary Jane Savage all of Talco, Texas, Tressa and Earl Brannon of Mt. Pleasant, Texas and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Public viewing will be at the funeral home on Friday, February 18, 2022 from
