Mount Pleasant junior guard Paris Beard was recognized prior to the start of the Lady Tigers’ district matchup against Texas High Tuesday. Going into Tuesday’s game, Beard had scored more than 1,400 points in her career and passed 1,000 points in November. The Lady Tigers defeated Texas High, 65-43, to remain undefeated in district.
