Funeral Service for Charles Eugene Wright, 54, a resident of Cookville, will be 2:00 PM Sunday, January 30, 2022 at Bates-Cooper Sloan Funeral Home, Mt. Pleasant with Pastor Randy Seybert. Burial service immediately following at Lone Star Cemetery, Cookville.
He was born in Bellflower, California on February 17, 1967 to Gail (Wright) Reeves and Charles Wright.
Charles grew up attending Life Tabernacle in Naples, Texas. Charles was known for his love of his family, restoring old cars and trucks, music and country living. He worked for Preifert Manufacturing.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Dorothy Bice and paternal grandparents, John and Anna Lee Wright.
He is survived by the love of his life, Sandra (Taylor) Wright; two beautiful daughters Ashley Gail Wright of Cookville and Mindy (Wright) Williams and son-in-law Bryan Williams; grandson Lucas of Hutto; his parents Gail and Bill Reeves of Cookville, and Charles Wright of Cookville; his sister Gina (Wright) Buser and brother-in-law Joe Buser of Plano; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Carolyn and Ricky Baumgartner of Royse City; sister-in-law Paula Plattner of Texarkana; sister-in-law Natasha Taylor of Mt. Pleasant; mother-in-law Kathy Powers of Royse City; and several nieces and nephews.
Family visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday, January 29, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
