Thelma J. Scullin passed away in Mount Pleasant, TX on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at the age of 81.
She was born to loving parents Edward and Myrtle Foreman in Kansas City, MO and was the youngest of four children.
Thelma married her loving husband Harold (deceased December 2019) in December 1958, celebrating 61 years of marriage with five children and seven grandchildren.
Thelma is survived by son and daughter in law Shawn and Traci, son and daughter in law Keith and Mary, son and daughter in law Ronald and Stephanie, son and daughter in law Craig and Mary, seven grandchildren, and sister Geneva and husband Joe.
Thelma was very close to her extended family David and Marlene, Patricia and Don, and Louis.
Thelma was preceded in death by son Thomas, parents, brother Howard, and sister Shirley.
Because of the rise in COVID cases, there will be a private viewing for family only on Monday, January 17, 2022, at Bates Cooper Sloan Funeral Home 2805 S. Jefferson Ave. Mt. Pleasant, TX. A graveside service for family and friends will follow 12:30 p.m. at Forest Lawn Cemetery 220 Highway 67 W, Mount Pleasant, TX.
