Funeral Service for Elizabeth Ann McGill, 69, a resident of Mt. Pleasant, will be 1:00 P.M Monday, January 17, 2022 at Sunset Baptist Church, Mt. Pleasant with Rev. Kirthell Roberts, officiating. Burial in Piney Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant, Texas under the direction of Tumey Mortuary. She died, Monday, January 10, 2022.
She was born July 20, 1952 in Mt. Pleasant Texas to Johnnie Lee and Erma Gene (Mosley) McGill. Liz was a member at Sunset Baptist Church, serving in various positions. Liz attended Booker T. Washington and graduated from Mount Pleasant High School in 1970. She attended college at Bishop Lynch. She retired from Luminant, Mount Pleasant, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her father Johnnie L. McGill.
Leaving to cherish her memory is her daughter Maria McGill Wilkerson Harper (Corey); her mother Erma Gene Mosley McGill; her sisters Johnnie Ruth Powell, Helen McGill, Teressie Dudley (Victor) Johnnie Ruth Ford, and Frances Justice; her brother Eddie McGill (Ava) and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
