The Mount Pleasant - Titus County Chamber of Commerce announced that the date of the annual banquet has been changed to Jan. 20, starting at 6 p.m. at the Mount Pleasant Civic Center.
Award nominations are open and the chamber will be accepting them until Dec. 31.
Nominees for the Lifetime Achievement Award should be individuals who have made contributions over several years.
The Business of the Year award is given to a single business each year that offers high-quality products, demonstrates high standards and more.
For the Citizen of the Year award, nominees should be members of the community who have a record of an extensive amount of participation or have made a notable contribution, within the community throughout the year.
