Martha Ann Steed passed away on December 11, 2021, at the age of 78. She was born on October 12, 1943, in Gilmer, Texas to Joe Weldon Steed and Lillie Dora Fielder Steed.
She worked in the Dietary Department at Titus Regional Medical Center for over 20 years before retiring; and was a longtime member of Highland Park Baptist Church in Mount Pleasant.
Martha is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Mary Jo and David Hahn of Richardson; nephew, Mark Hahn; niece and husband, Amy and Dr. Jason Tennison; great niece, Maryn Tennison; great nephew, Carter Tennison; greatniece Ellie Tennison; and cousins, Jerry Fielder and Dora Ledbetter.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A memorial graveside service will be held for Martha on Friday, January 7, 2022, at 1:00 PM at Masonic Cemetery in Mount Pleasant under the direction of Bates-Cooper-Sloan Funeral Home.
In Lieu of donations in Martha Steed’s memory donations can be made to the Senior Adult Ministry at the Highland Park Baptist Church in Mt. Pleasant.
