Mary Ellen Story passed away on October 17, 2021 at her home in Talco. She was born on September 20, 1950 in Gilmer, Texas to Raymond Sedlacek and Eugenia Vaughan Sedlacek.
She was a Certified Lab Technician and X-Ray Technician for over 33 years. She loved painting and enjoyed raising and gardening flowers.
Mary is survived by her loving husband, Richard Story; her son and daughter-in-law, Gregory and Nicole Graham; and her grandchildren, Jack, Claire, and Walker Graham.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Ray Sedlacek.
A memorial service will be held for Mary on Friday, October 29, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Bates-Cooper-Sloan Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant.
Memorial donations may be made, in lieu of flowers, to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
