Two more people have been arrested in relation to the investigation that began Aug. 31 at Kidz Kare Academy, and in addition to the arrest of 25-year-old Erin Wilson.
38-year-old Amy Castaneda, an employee of the daycare, was arrested by MPPD detectives at her residence on Sept. 2. She was booked into the Titus County Jail under an arrest warrant charging Castaneda with one count of injury to a child with bodily injury.
The details leading to Castaneda’s arrest were discovered during the ongoing investigation.
On Sept. 3, a search warrant was executed at Kidz Kare Academy. Detectives arrested 42-year-old Kendra Anschutz for an arrest warrant charging her with abandoning or endangering a child, a state jail felony. Anschutz is the owner of the Kidz Kare Academy.
